Legacy quad LNB setting

Hi, guys.replaced DPP lnb with legacy quad today.want 2 use 4x1 disc.switch to connect 1 stb(kbox) for 119/110,97w , and second stb(pansat 2700) just for 119/110.got legacy quad(was cheap on ebay) and should get 119/110 for dish 500 for 4 stbs, and i can't for even 2.in order to get both 119/110 on kbox i have to use setting :119-legacy quad LNB1 port1, and for 110-legacy quad LNB2- port 2.also put (DTV dish-on port3,no problem, and finally 97w from inter.dish on port 4 disc.switch(also working fine).
at same time pansat lost signal completly(only see standard lnb type).
Please,help with legacy quad setting for both stbs for 119/110

use of an external DiseqC switch disables the built-in SW switch... outputs default to 110/119 outputs

Install the diseqc switch in front of the quad and assign its port(s) to the receiver(s)
Then try these:
Sw42 Dish 1 for 119
Sw42 Dish 2 for 110

I am running a legacy twin with a diseqc switch in front of it. This gives me 5 satellites on 1 diseqc switch. It works good.
I would expect a legacy quad to work too, but I don't remember if the same switch commands will work for it. EB

Have either of you done this setup??
I ask because you can't add a diseq swith to an lnb that already has a switch in it. By doing so, the lnb's will not operate properly and damage your quad lnb. The quad should be used for original equipment, not fta boxes.
Why are you replacing your DPP lnb's? I would stay with those lnb's and add your switch to them.
Your pansat gets nothing because it's blocked signal due to going through 2 switches.

That legacy twin has a built in switch and running to a diseq switch? Now that is a first I have heard of. Good stuff

Some lnbs with built-in switches can be cascaded. The legacy twin will work on a diseqc switch. Example: sat 119= diesqc port 3, Sw42 Dish 1 sat 110 diseqc port 3, Sw42 Dish 2.
Then you can use diseqc ports 1,2,and 4 for other things. Some people have reported problems doing this but it works fine for me. If it works for me, it should work for you. The legacy quad may take different switch commands. I do not remember. These types of legacy lnbs are old and are prone to problems.

As DJ stated, it would not make much sense to do this with a DishPro twin because it uses diseqc commands.

replaced DPP,cuz won't work with 4x1 disc.need to connect 97w and 91w,also with 119/110 on kbox alone/for pansat just need 119/110

Altho a late reply hope this helps if you haven't figured it out yet...Legacy twins/quads have the internal SW42 switch and will work with an external diseqc as well...
Connect one feed to any input of the diseqc and set diseqc settings to match....Now set Legacy settings as follows:
119...........SW42 Dish#1
110...........SW42 Dish#2
Also set Lnb Type as follows if you have these options;if not use "Standard":
119...........Legacy Quad lnb#1
110...........Legacy Quad lnb#2

Have setup quite a few this way with success so it should work...Do however recommend using good quality diseqcs such as the Ecoda,EMP-Centauri, or the Heavy Duty Cheita brands for more reliability..JMO
