Well, I received my new LNB and installed it. It worked just fine for both Circular and Linear birds.....for one day. I shut the receiver off for the night, turned it on in the morning to scan more birds and nothing. My S was back at 5. I get the circular birds fine, but the linear shows my dreaded S of 5. However, when I go to 123W and do a blind scan my s goes from 5 to 35 and roams around those numbers. My receiver doesn't find any channels though. I ran a direct coax (by-passed the motor and switch) from the LNB to my receiver from the second "L" and when I hook it up, I get S & Q of 95 right away. I cahanged my switch and it's still the same. Both my switches are Chieta 4 ports. My thinking is that it might be the switches for whatever reason. Is there a switch that anyone recommends I try? I'm at my wits end. Thanks!

Look at post 2 again.
A S signal of 5 to 35 would suggest only a piece of coax is attached to the receiver.
Most likely, You either have a bad coax or a switch on the L side.Try another switch port on the diseqc switch. Always Unplug the receiver before connecting or disconnecting any coax or switch. If you connect a diseqc switch while the power is on the receiver, then you will probably destroy that port so always unplug the receiver first. EB

Thank-you EB. Here's what I've done since your last post:

Changed cable from "L" port to switch. No change.
Swapped straight through cable (direct cable to my basement) with cable to switch. No change...both "L" ports worked on straight through cable, same "S" problem with different cables to switch.
I changed my switch to a ROC SW21. "L" to port 1 and "C" to port 2. Both "L" outputs now work on the same cables that I was using with the Chieta switch(s). I thought, "GREAT!!" So I changed my settings in Motor Setup to the "C" (Port 2, LNB 10750, 22Khz off, Legacy off, Multiport LNB) and did a blind scan of 110W. and got these channels:

Learn 1
SHOPPERS
Learn 2
Learn 3

It looks like the switch isn't switching. I'm at a loss.

You may have made a mistake in your setup. You are using a SW21 now?

Post the EXACT settings you are using for each linear and circular satellite. These settings can be found in the Channel Search menu or the Motor Setup menu if you are using a motor.

For reference, my setup goes like this:

Receiver to Motor (SG-2100) to Switch to LNB

OK..."MOTOR SETUP"

For Linear:

Motor Type: USALS
Satellite: Anik F1 107.3W
Switch & LNB: Setup >

-LNB TYPE: Multi Port LNB
-LNB: 10750
-DiSEqC: 1
-22Khz: Off
-Legacy: Off

TP Frequency: 11715
Motor Movement: Stop
Motor Control: Store Sat Position
Satellite Position: 107.3 West
Search Options: All Channels

Signal shows 95

For Circular:

Motor Type: USALS
Satellite: Echo 8/10
Switch & LNB: Setup >

-LNB TYPE: Multi Port LNB
-LNB: 10750
-DiSEqC: 2
-22Khz: Off
-Legacy: Off

TP Frequency: 12224
Motor Movement: Stop
Motor Control: Store Sat Position
Satellite Position: 110.0 West
Search Options: All Channels

Signal shows 80

Did you mistype??? Why are you using 10750 for linear and circular?
For this lnb:
Linear IS 10750
Circular IS 11250

No, I didn't mistype. *sigh*. I thought the LNB had to be 10750 for both. Don't ask me why......I'm trying it now. You may not believe it, but I'm not usually dumb with this stuff. Don't know wtf is going on in my head.

Ok , 123 went ok. I did a blind scan of 110 and got about 40 channels. I just did 91W with the new settings and 31 channels and 5 radio channels. Some of the 91 channels are:

TXCN
Occasional
TXCN_AC3
CH. 149
CH. 220
PATH 1
LETN

Not the normal 91 Bell line-up.

It sounds like you are OK now.
If it is running correctly, write down all of your settings so you will have them next time.

I will. Is that normal? Should I only have those channels or would I have the regular Bell line-up like on a sub?

If you scan 91 circular, you should get the Bell lineup. If you scan it linear, you should get the linear channels. If you scan past 12224 on the linear lnb then you may get some of the Bell channels.
You can get some circular channels using a linear lnb so be careful about scanning past 12224 on the linear lnb.
If you have made a mess of your channels then do a factory default and start over. You can also save your channel file and reload it on CNX products.

That's what I thought. The channels I posted above were from a Circular scan but they appear to me to be Linear channels since I don't recall seeing them anywhere on my sub. Do I need to change my blind scan settings perhaps?

Is diseqc port 2 Circular or Linear?

12224 Is where the circular transponders will start.

Your blind scan settings look good.
