Lost RTN

Yesterday I lost RTN. I can't find any transponder changes. Just wondering what happened?

3 thay dont know there off line
4 new owners
5 thay oun to much money for sat fees
6 thay lost contract for programs
7 DN stop them for lost of sup
8 could not get any stimulus money
9 service cant get there untell next week
10 Equity Media Holdings bought them back

RTV on 83 West Is still alive. I am watching it now but the signal is much weaker than it has been. I am using a 1.2 meter dish in Atlanta. EB

I was getting RTN from AMC 9 with varying Q of 40% to 58% ,but yesterday all of a sudden, :"No signal",I switched to TP 11773, the NBC feed, it was down to 90% from 99% before yesterday, it must be a TP power problem.I hope they can fix it soon, I love the programs, also, it comes on local cable channel with sub, where does the local cable get its signal? Neither Lyngsat nor Sathints don't list RTN on any of their Sat listings besides AMC 9? Does anyone know what other bird carries it? Its got to be up there in some bird!Or else they get it from AMC9 too, and with their huge dishes(15-18 feet with 60-70 dB gain) it doesn't matter if TP signal is weak.Any comments?

The only thing you can do is get a bigger dish or wait. These things happen. EB

Yes EB, I got it back sometime today if it was the signal drop like you said than you should see your signal back up higher now. Thank for the info.

Not sure,but I think cable co. receive in c-band;not affected much by weather.I think I read references to RTN/RTV being on C-band too.
