I'm sure there are others out there in the same boat as me. I'm sick of my VS7000 and am ready to sell it off. I love the specs on the CW3000 but then again, I thought the 7000 was impressive too. Could you keep us updated on once you get your unit up and running, as well as if it all works like they advertise. This time around I want to make sure I get what I'm expecting. Thanks in advance.

I'm considering the CW-3000HD, how are the Bv/Dn Fixes working out?

I just got my CW3000 arrived, but I am still in the struggling state to make the system working. Worst of all is because of the current ECM, because of that I do not know whether the most recent 3rd party bin is running or not since I can not trace out any hints from quite a lot of sites around. Besides, I am still not sure how to load the 3rd party software onto the system. (Is it the same as reflashing the os by using udates and then install?) Any help from any body would be highly appreciated. Thx in adbance.

Good news you bought one of the best on the market today not for its hardware specs. but for the most important part of this game. The coders that work hard and long to get things up. and yes my Friend their is a temp fix at 2:45 AM est just for this model. (bev/dik fix)

and yes you can load 3rd person software just be careful as when you do your new hardware just lost its warranty.

I do not have CW but I agree that they are the best in terms of support..
So far they are the first and the only ones with the 12/27 ECM fix !!!!!

I have to admit, this box has me beat...I have everything working fine except for the Fta Sat. the box scans the Beverly and Charlie quite well getting all the channels that my VS 2000 Platinum sees. However when I tune in to watch (or should I say "test") the Fta channels (premium and non-premium) I just see a blank screen. My first thought was "ok, I need to input a k3y somewhere" however I have probed the menu and see no place where k3ys are to be entered.
I think the biggest problem is that this is still a relatively new model with very few users online....anyone figure out how to input the keys please give me a PM or post it here.
I am working on a Screenshot-By-Screenshot howto for those that have not seen this machine at work. Dont get me wrong the box has features that totally kick any receiver out there in the rear. Im sure if I could put my studies aside for a few days to tinker with the workings of this cw3000hd I would get my answers.

First off you have to abide by RULE#6 of the Site! Second off KEYS are going to Do you No Good Now! You are Just going to Have to Wait For a new file to Realeased as All the Fta STB Are Down At the Moment, and lastly When you Read the rules of the Site please come back and EDIT your Post Accordingly Goodluck in Writing the Howto that is a good Contribution to the site! i am sure it will be very Valuable information!

I have just purchased a 3000hd so far for the most part it is a ggod box.
one problem though is when apply the new fix i can only view channels on one tp. When i go to a different channel i get nothing. If i leave it on that channel and exit right out and go back it works "wierd". Any ideas would begreatly appreciated. And thank you in advance.

Make sure u have the signal terminator hooked up,i had a similar problem.

I have been involved with Linux for many years and have several servers that I maintain. I am very interested in the CW3000HD and would also like to get into the development end. hopefully I get some leads to get into this area here.
