sorry for the ignorance, but im new to this..i know what divx is
but why would i need that usb drive on a fta reciever..?

With a divx usb port, you can download and watch movies.

basically it means if u downloads divx file u don't have to burn them 2 see them on your tv. this is very good as there is a lot of programs and u movies u can convert to divx format al later see on your tv.

sounds pretty badass but dont think that i would use that function often enough to justify paying the extra amount.
