Thanks to g.n.m for for getting me going with this.
The program ConvertXtoDVD is easy to use and does a great job converting the .gts files and burning to DVDs. DVD quality looks as good as original on TV to me. NICE!

Good stuff...videoredo will do as well..media player classic will play gts..I just tried a few small sample files to test.

I just keep em on the hard drive for viewing later.

Nice to have the option though for sure..:D

HDD must be nice. FedEx set mine out by the road Friday and someone stole it before I could get to it. :cry: I'm still working from my 1GB mem stick. I'll try to get that SeaGate FreeAgent 500GB at Circuitcity for $119 free ship next week if they stay on sale that long. Did I mention how sorry FedEx is around here... :lol:

One day later and they're back up to $169.
Guess I'm keep shopping for one.

I use the same drive on my CNX, I think it was $139cnd at walmart.:D

How can you play .GTS file in WMP ? and how can you convert those same file with Videoredo ?? i have downloaded it and it isn't working :(

ConvertXtoDvd May be easier for you..it will convert and has its own burn engine..

Media player classic comes with K-lite codec pack(free download)..and is very useful..you can view on you pc with this. just right click on the gts file and choose to open and browse to where you installed k-lite.:)

Any free software that can convert .GTS files?
