The Conaxsat Duo is finally here!! Easy setup thanks to this board and enclosed manual. All installed and ready to rock and roll. Looks good so far – a far cry from my 2500 clone.

There are some issues though: The strange channel numbers, a few missing channels, some duplicates, a few random scrambled channels, one freeze that required reboot………

I’ll play around with it some, do a little more reading and then come up with my requests for help.

You will like your Duo as much as I like mine.

There are a few items I have to adjust to when compare to the Pansat. It's just different ways of doing the same thing.

The only think I really wish now is that there is a program like Channel Master that allow editing of the channel list to rearrange the channel order and rename channel channel numbers within each Sat.

What are the strange channel numbers? Do you mean "00" in front of channel numbers? Cuz you could ignore them when punching in numbers..

I don't have duplicates and missing channels that I watch. What channels are you missing? btw, PBS channles don't count.

What equipments do you have and how your settings are? Maybe we could get rid of those duplicates.

Just to report everything's ok now. It took me some time learning about some of the features I was not accustomed to. Blind scanning on Dish Pro 1 gave me all the channels I'm supposed to be able to receive.

There are quite a few convenient features on this box and the ability to view the channel before you deleted it, is priceless. Still in the process of cleaning up my list, setting up favorites, haven't tried the pvr functions..... and will be reporting on how it goes.

notenought is right - a way to download and edit the channel list would be on my wish list too. So would other facilities:p (was there any doubt?)
