Running a regular 2010 buzz. Last night at about 48 past midnight it went down for ***. I reset it & it came up for about another 10 minutes. I shut it off knowing that they usually send their updates during the inactivity during the night.
This morning I have everything going, but only for 10 minutes at a time. The receiver went off by itself. I rebooted it and got another 10 minutes. I shut it off.
Is anybody else experiencing this?

I would reload factory defaults, then load the factory bin file. See if the box acts the same. Possibly a hardware issue with the power supply. If so, it will screw up with the factory bin , too.

Also just my $0.02 but is it well ventilated?

I'm very frustrated at hearing that everybody is up & I can't get there.
I tried the factory reset & checked the ventilation. Everything is ok.
Mlew2, I have the same problem that you had with your sv4000. All channels are "wait for update".
I also can't find the bin for the regular buzz s2010. I tried the August 3rd, but no luck. Am I not seeing something in the files section or there isn't a new bin yet? Is the bin for the buzz plus (Aug 17) valid for my receiver?
I am using this unit for 110/119 & 61.5. Somehow, I can't get it to capture any channels from 61.5. This has been for awhile. It downloads the channels from 110, when I do the download. It downloads with the August 3rd bin for sats110/119.
I know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that one of you will set me in the right direction.

Do you have more than 1 machine running? That is what my problem was.

No, this is the only one that is running. My other is a 3100-10, but I haven't put my jtag to it. Tried once & killed it. Had someone revive it.
