Hello everyone i am new at this but learning fast. I have the coolsat 5000 and coolsat 7000 i was trying hook both at sametime. I was able to get the 5000 running an finding all the channels however when i went to program my 7000 i could only get 1 sat. some one told me to change something on my 5000 to allow the 7000 unit to read first. I just unpluged my 5000 and that allowed my 7000 to pick up both sats. However when it tries to program it get stuck on one of the sat and sets there. Also it wont place the local chanes correctly. What do i need to do the 5000 unit or how do i plug it up to allow both to run correctly.

What kind of switch and lnb are you using?

What kind of switch and lnb are you using?

I looked at them last night the lnb is lnbf from dish network 500 dubble digital. The switch i have used two different ones the coolsat 4 n2 1 that came with the 7000 unit and i have used a direct tv 4 n 8 out. Reguardless same thing happens with both.
