Having issues with the 8100. I downloaded and installed the factory bin with no issue. Now the unit will not upload any flies. When I hit the start in the loader pgrm, nothing happens, no download starts. I let it sit for 20 min and nothing, it dosent freeze or lock up it just does nothing. Any one else having this issue? I tried using the USB stick, but when I load the file on to the stick and then try and upload it into the box it tells me no file found. Any one have an ideas?

Are u using the same serial cable. Is it a null-modem serial cable? Try uploading factory bin again. What happens when you turn your receiver ON ( NOT while programming )?

I tried to load the factory pgrm again having the same issue, Im using the same cable it came with. The unit runs fine when hooked up to my tv.

To start uploading file to your 8000hd, the receiver back switch is got to be OFF. Then run the program, choose the right files, click upload, and then turn the receiver back switch ON.
