A friend was given sp6000 and ask me if i could help him get it working. it doesn't have the manual with it and i can't find out much on this unit with just the remote. i found a couple of sites for the manual but when i tryed to download them it came up [the compressed folder is invalid or corrupted]one of them was by Mas and dated 4-4-06. i don't know if they were to old or not. would like an updated version if possible. thank you very much.

Do a google search for neusat. Go to factory website. download pdf manual and latest factory bin.

These are WinRar files. Winzip may not work. WinRar will.

Use Winrar to extract.....download all four parts of the manual....next use winrar to extract the first part of the manual....extract to whatever folder....next extract part 2 of the manual....it might appear the files have the same file name...just extract and replace each part till you get all four parts extracted...then you will have the entire manual....the files located here work because I just tried them.....the key is use Winrar to extract....hope this helps....>)

NITRODOG, thank you for the reply. i have all four parts downloaded and win rar downloaded. my problem now is am 67 and know just enough about a computer to be dangerous, and don't know how to get one into the other to extract the files. thank you very much. thunderhawk

OK...I am not at home in front of my PC but will try to muddle thru anyway.
First install the Winrar proggy...not sure how you downloaded that file whether it was an .exe type file or a zip.....if a zip...just unzip it with windows and install in whatever directory.....if an .exe type just doubleclick it and let it install itself....after installing winrar you can close the program....Next you can doubleclick the first Part1 of the manual...winrar should open automatically...if it doesn't....right click the Part1 file and Open with then point it to the winrar program...then click OK....should open up the winrar console.....your file should be in the lower window of the console.....click the extract button and then look at where it says Extract toand either say OK or change the location to the folder you desire.Next extract each of the parts...the file name may appear to be the same for each of the parts....this is OK...when you extract each part it will ask you to replace the current file with the new one....say yes or OK and replace each one....overwriting each one as you go....after all four parts have been extracted...you will end up with one file....with everything in it....

Some of this I am just trying to regurgitate from memory...I am 52...so I understand some of your dilemma also.....the wording may not be exactly correct but I think you will be able to muddle thru OK....Wish I had some screen shots of all this so you could look at that....I think you will be fine...let us know how you make out..
