I use to be able to download my files onto the 6000 hard drive, now my pc doesn't reconize the 6000 hard drive (hard drive works because I'm able to use the 6000 to record programs). Is there any other way to download files to the 6000 or get the pc to reconized the hard drive. Thank You

Did you resolve issue? I ask only because I am purchasing the same unit and would like some feedback.

Are you certain your USB cable that you interface your drive to your computer is still good? Seems like the cable might be the problem if you still can use the drive in your 6000. Does the drive spin up when you plug it into your computer? If not, well there you are. If you put a memory stick into the same port on your computer, does the computer mount the stick? If not... Have you tried your drive on another computer?
