Hi

I'm very new to this satellite I just got a coolsat 7000 pvr and I have 3 dish I was told that I can get 91, 110 & 119. Is there any thing I need to do with the reciver first or do i just install my dish and point them then scan for channels.

There is a lot to it, don't know what lnb type, size dish, switches or ports that you connected, dish setting on your receiver etc-etc.? Don't pass Dish Forums go to newbie area section or other hardware section this will help you set up your antenna's. Everyone who's in this hobby if we got time have to do a lot of reading thru the forums.

First dish I have set up back in 1996 took me a good 4 hours before getting Intelsat 97 without sattelite finder connected in line to it, just the Samsung receiver and a 13" analog TV don't want to pay an installer, I'd learn. Still reading forums if i acquire a free dish like Superdish, 33" dish, Dish 500 with twin, or quad lnb's.
