loaded s/w1.41 premium
used factory sat file ---I have read it needs an upgrade
using dp21 swt. on dish500
turned on dp21-1 and dp21-2
turned on dp lnb
turned of 22khz swt.
used echostar package with sid
used red scan button not bs
sat10-12224 sat scan
sat7-12239 sat scan
signal quality above 80 on active tranponders
time is set
problems:
only scans 220-240chnl's each on both sats
many duplicate chnl's
sat setup menu- when changing sats it waits 20-40sec. before a power
level is displayed.
could not power down the lnb when switching sats, so turned off the swt
to scan only one sat at a time. moved from 10 to 7 and 10 still showed
full power on screen. 20-40sec later 7 showed power. this will cause
duplicate chnl's. how do you resolve this problem. missing 200 201 501
502 etc.
Note: I did modify most transponders from 3/4 to 5/6. to correspond to good
working extreme with 608 chnl's.
