Hey all,

Ive been running my Coolsat 6000 for a while now and it works great (aiming is good approx 96%). I recently bought Coolsat 7000 and to test it out I just plugged the coaxial cable in the 7000 from the 6000.

I found the signal for quality drops 15-20% and I dont get as many channels as my 6000. My friend also has the same problem at his house.

Has anyone else have this problem? Have I set it up right (single, 11.250, rigth switch#)

Try changing the Frequency to get Higher Quality before Scanning

Doesn't it scan all the frequencys anyways when you do a channel search? Plus if I go to a different frequency under dish settings and go back to the screen again it goes abck to the default frequency (ex 12224)

All your setting should be the same in both boxes & do you have the 6K off it should be off while testing 7K , make sure after scanning on all of your available dish put the SAT setting to All Sats.
Check Dish Forum section or any FTA section about settings, switches and other stuff.
