i m thinking of getting the Coolsat 8000 HD , but wanted to know if i need to get an aditional Satellite. would the dish network 500 works for the cs 8k? or i need to get an upgraded dish "dn 1000.2 or the dn 1000 pro / pro plus " ? any one have any clue? since i don't see much posting on any of the dishes. .

First of all you might consider waiting a few more weeks, the Coolsat 8100 HD is supposed to be released around the end of the month so they say. You can check it out at coolsatusa.c**. The dish 500 works great,depending how many sats your gonna aim at.You might wanna get two, one for 110,119 and one for the other two northern birds. You won't get HD chs on DN so youll have to aim at the northern birds if you want HD chs. The 1000 dishes are alot more difficult to set up. good luck
