One thing that is baffling me is when i do a blind scan (on universal mode) of EchoStar 8, 3 and 5, I do not get some channels like BBC, CNN, ESPN etc...? Am I doing anything wrong? Or is there another sattelite that I need to scan on a different mode like Standard???

For anyone to help you, i'm sure more info will be required.
Can u post your settings on lnb's, and what lnb's you using. Software version?
Those sats you need to have the lnb's set as standard and using the right lnb's, also don't do a blind scan, do instead a channel search of those sats.
