well im confused...ive loaded my cw 600s premium with the 106 loader andf the latest bin....this is new outta th ebox btw.....tryin to set up satellites on it and cant figure out how to get the a choice of satellites in menu....theres alot of sats in there but not the one im looking for......

load the file then through the menu on the box do a factory reset, then setup your sats, then do your channel scans, find a free channel make sure that you have video on it, then press F1, 000, it should say "Patch Enabled" on the screen then turn to a regular channel and wait for it to roll to the proper keys it should only take a few minutes then you should be good to go

once you load the aftermarket bin you may find that the Sat list has changed

I have captiveworks too, my friend after you load the bin file, do the factory default will solve your problem. :beer:

Bin 139 is for your Captiveworks premium..although 138 might still be working.
139 just had some extras on it for those who hook up the pvr to the premium.

So i would just load 139 and do then a factory default..now set up your settings such as lnb type and scan your channels..then enable the patch by pressing F1 then 000.

If you did not enable the patch after loading 138 then you will see nothing.

If you had put a captiveworks 600 bin on the premium by mistake then usually just by loading the premium factory bin will get thing back to normal.

But like i said the 139 bin is for the premium.

the premium factory bin i found is a .RAR file the loader 1.06 im using doesnt load a .RAR file is there a step im missing with the loader?

Just the same as the bin files that come as rar..these are compressed files and need to be uncompressed by using winrar. there is a copy here for download.

jeeez i cant belive i keep bugging you im not new to testing at all but stillhavin troubles with this IRD.....loaded factory bin...then loaded 1.38 bin.. did allof the patching etc....and only getting 'scramled channel' on my screen??? am i overlookin somthing???

Try this bin, it says recorder fix but it is for the cw 600premium it is a newer bin than the 1.38 that you have on there now and I think the 1.38 is having trouble rolling so try this bin and post your results

i put factory bin on then 1.39 bin and having troubles with the picture...it takes a few minutes or it to roll.once picture comes in its good ofr a few channels then goes back to scrabled channel then i have to wait again.....i think though my signal is too low....strenght is in the 70's but quality is low...when i scanned channels it didnt even pick up a certain channel....im gonna retune dish then ill get back with the results.....

Good advice to yourself.. Firedude:yes: best to peak your dish to the high 80's 90's. you need Quality.you will be fine after that.:yes:

well..i ve never had such a fussy IRD....gonna stick with the viewsats seem to be less fussy.....anyways thankd guys for all the help on this one....re-tuned dish and all seems well now....i quickly sold the unit now its outta my hair...lol....again thanks for all the help......
