1. Hook up JTAG to IRD
2. Power Up IRD.
3. Load JKEY 2.0 by D2
4.Click On EEPROM programming
5. A pop up will come up asking you to put your IRD in programming mode. Either unplug and power up your ird with pad1 on the ird (jtag area) grounded and then click ok, or otherwise *power down (unplug) and power up ird, but WITHIN 3 SECONDS of powering up click the ok on the popup.
*STEP 5 IS VERY IMPORTANT, IF IT IS NOT IN PROGRAMMING MODE< THERE IS A VERY HIGH CHANCE THAT YOU WILL GET AN ERROR AND FLAG YOU TSOP*

6. Select you Ird from the drop down menu and then click save, to save your eeprom as a bin with the name of your choice. This is done.

After that you will have a backup of your EEPROM in case you ever have to restore it, while doing this I recommend you make a backup of your TSOP to by clicking SAVE MEM on the first screen when JKEYS boots up (note IRD does not have to be in programming mode to save TSOP)

If you want to make sure your eeprom backup is accurate open it up in a hexeditor and compare it to the memory dump screen.
Hope this helps ! Happy testing
