Hi ! I have a dish 500 with single lnb and a dish 1000 with dul lnb and single lnb pointed to 110 and 119 , 129 the single dish is pointed to 82. I have a dp44 but doesnt seem to to working . I have tryed a 4 diseqc also and my coolsat 8000 only seems to bring in 110 and 119. Cant get all the sats to work together. Can anyone help. Thankyou so much !

I seem to be getting similar results, I have 2 single LNB's connected with an SW21 for Bell and a dish pro with built in SW21 going to a diseqc switch, but can only get one bird at a time on each dish. 119 predominantly on one and 91 on the other. Its almost like the SW21 is not recognised. Both dishes and combo's work fine on the Coolsat 6000.

Any ideeas would be helpful.

well, first, your Dish has a DPP TWIN and a DP DUAL, not a dual and single....DishPro LNBs have an obvious black DP logo on them.. DPP, well, thats obvious as well..Twin looks at 2 sats, with 2 outputs.. a dual looks at only ONE sat with 2 outputs.. a Single looks at one sat but with only ONE output...

ON a 1000, the DishProPlus Twin looks at 110 and 119, with an LNB IN port for a third input.. 129 in the case of the dish1000...I'm guessing that your dish500 must have a single or dual mounted in the yoke, and you can point that almost anywhere...

now, to got those all working together, will require more than a DiseqC... a DPP44 is the switch of choice normally...you could get the DPP outputs and either 129 or the "other" sat without any external switch, simply using the DPP capabilities..

can you do without one of those last 2 sats.??

Assuming a diseqc can handle two Dish 500s (2 non-pro dishes, 4 sats in total, 8 lines to 2 diseqc [or 4-to-1]) provided these are standard LNBs (vs. DishPro).. then would a Dish Pro (having an internal Diseqc-equivalent) need a downstream SW21 to be split with any other dishes/LNBs?

I got it working for the most part. 82 works great with the dp 44, 110 and 119 seem to be getting mixed up. sometimes it says 119 and sometimes it says 110. so I have to play around alittle more. Thanks for the help !
