i have tried all tips to get this menu and just cant seem to get it any help would be appriceated

Select Menu/Advanced then use your remote and punch 1 2 3 4 and you will be at the keys page.

Yes, it definately doesn't work that way on mine either.


Here's what *did* work for me:
- switch to channel 1234 then press menu quickly before the station change fails
- you need to be in Menu while the LCD panel displays "1234", so if you missed it exit and try again
- then shuffle to advanced (right 3 times) and press 1234 again
- if it doesn't work you have to exit and start again as you missed a key (likely due to the CS8k's crappy IR receiver)

You must load a bin which is not the factory bin!

Original Coolsat 8000 or any other Coolsat 4,5,6 factory bin does not have this option!

Do not highlight any of the submenu items. Just move over to the advanced menu and hit 1234. The encryption menu will appear.
