I just got a CW-1000S and need help setting it up. I have a d_sh 1000 dish with 3 lnb's.
I am really new to this and need help with the Captive Works setup.
I wan't to look at 110 and 119 with the dish I described above.. what should the settings be?
What should the switch setting be?
Available choices are:
a none
b disqc
c mini disqc
d 22khz
What wshould my lnb selection be?
Available choices are:
a none
b univ 2
c univ 1
d circular
e linear
f dp circular
g dp linear
h switch
Are there any other setting that I need to setup?
Being new here I have looked everywhere I could think of here and can't find an answer or just don't really understand what I really need to know.
I have a CW 600s premium up and runnig fine with the same dish.
Finally what bin file do I need to download for this unit and are there any special things I should know about downloading, seting up and getting it running.
I really would appreciate any help I could get to get this working.

U should have CW 1004-1006 uudate and any 3rd party SW,although u don't need the 3rd party SW to set up and scan channels(u won't get video or audio)
If u are using a Disqc switch then use these settings:
-Disqc
-lnb is circular
-port 0 is #1 on your disqc switch
-port 1 is #2
-port 2 is #3
-port 3 is #4
Scan each setting or scan all and save.

I still don't get it. I currently have this dish directly connected to a cw 600 s premium. This system works fine. I want to use the cw 1000 s in lieu of the cw 600s. I have no switch installed, the settings for the 600 are as follows:
sat name: 119w sat name 110w
transponder: 12224/v/20000/5/6 transponder: 12224/v/20000/5/6
lnb frequency: ocs-dp lnb frequency: ocs-dp
22khz: auto 22khz: auto
diseqc number: lnb1 diseqc number: lnb2
legacy switch: off legacy switch: off
motorized system: none motorized system: none
Can"t I just take the cable that now goes to the cw 600s and connect it to the cw 1000s ( without a switch) and make it work?
I really don't understand the settings that i need to put in on the cw 1000 s

Your 600 settings stays with your receiver, not on your switch.Noticed you're on 119, but u named it 110.
CW 1000 settings:
switch- none
lnb-circular on port #0
satelite-echostar 7, 119w on port #0
scan
save
