To my knowledge there is no upgrade files or new .bins for a Pansat 2300A. There is a file out to upgrade a Pansat 2500A to a 2700A.

However, you can try to load the last .bin for the 2300A and manually input the keys and see if you can get video. I cannot say if this will work because I have a Pansat 2700A.

From what I understand there is no more support for the Pansat 2300A and the 2500A will soon follow. You need to upgrade to a Pansat 2700A or above to be safe. But before you upgrade and buy another Pansat, look around and see what else is out there.

I just purchased a nFusion Nova and it blows my Pansat 2700 AWAY! I can scan both 110 and 119 in less than 3 minutes. It automatically puts the channels in order, so no need to use Channel Master or any other software. The new EPG is fantastic and lots better than my Pansat. The nFusion automatically remaps the Atlanta (East) and San Fran (West) locals to channels 241 to 248. You can also remap your local channels for your area using the remote. It has an ethernet connection that you can use to update the key using IKS (Internet Key Sharing) and can also use the PVR function to record to your computers hard drive.
