hi guys need some help i just got a Dreambox 500-S . i would like to get it going on dish and bev. i know nothing about the Dreambox 500-S . so maybe some of you guys can help me out with software and updated flash and a how to.. i am not new to fta i do test some fta boxs

Hi rranger and welcome to the dreambox world. I hope you are ready to do a lot of reading because the dreambox, although amazing, requires a lot of knowledge. Best place to start is the files section where you will find a few manuals on how to setup your receiver(Geno is the best). One of the latest working emulators opencam 1.2.3 for the DSM image is also listed(only to be used with DSM image). Another place to look on this website are the posts on the general dreambox section- Mas has posted some how-to's.

This should get you started. If you have any questions feel free to post. There are many knowledgable people here willing to help.

By the way, my understanding with this forum is that you are not allowed to mention the northern provider, so you might want to edit your post.
