I've downloaded the latest bin yesterday the 144 for my magnum 3300. And my receiver doesn't turn on anymore. No lights, nothing! Like it's dead or something. Could anybody tell me what's going on?

It seems strange because it died right after I downloaded the bin and tried to plug all the wires back onto the reciever. It was still working when I was downloading the bin so. Plus I only got this reciever 3 months ago and it was brand new.

Something just doesn't seem right here!!!!

Call them up and return it for warranty replacement.

Once the unit is returned they will ship out the replacement unit immediately. They have a good record on this. You've got a warranty that they'll honor.

check that you plugged the wires in correctly, It is not the same setup as other stb's. There is the possibility that if you hooked the wires in wrong that you blew it up,
contact the dark one for a replacement

I would lay odds you plugged your coax into IF Out.
On a Magnum that is instant death.
Any smoke come out of it??
Good thing about Magnum is they will give you a replacement receiver no questions asked for up to 1 year from purchase.
Best warranty of any FTA Receiver.
To avoid this issue I recommend new owners of Magnum put a cover on the IF Out connector or tape it up so you can't connect cable to it.

i had the same problem last night. the problem was the coax going into IF IN. i unplugged it and turned it on it turned on. so i tryed serveral times same problem. i turned the receiver on with IF IN cable out and once it was on then plugged it in and it worked again. then i turned it off and on worked as normal again hope it helps.

I had a maggie die on me a month ago out of nowhere, didn't even update the bin. They replaced it wihtout question. Great service.

Alright yeah! That was the problem! Thanks for solving it. But now I have a new 1. Every hour my Satilite freezes for 10 minutes while it says CHLS. It only begun to happen after I downloaded the new bin. Anybody care to tell me whats going on? and how I fix it?
