I downloaded the how to package and the loader tool, I open it and choose the latest file from the file section, but when I press the connect button nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
Very confused, I have never had a Neusat before.

I'm using STBUpgrade ver 1.9.3

WHOW!! for the first time I have asked for help, and no one has been able to help. I new I should have bought a pansat.

I guess the question is why are you using the serial port to program your neusat... the usb option is much easier... but have you hit the load button and picked your bin image to upload to the receiver? is your com port configured properly? ... did you set the loader to upload to the receiver? if the loader is not doing anything then I would suspect the com port setting is not configured to match your system settings so you will to look in device manager to see how your com port is configured a set the loader to match... loading the bin only to a flash drive and plug it into the usb port on the receiver the receiver will see the software and ask you if you want to load it... press okay on remote and away it goes... much easier to program that way.... try it you'll like it...
