:sad: Need help! I turned off then unpluged my 4000 pro, removed all cables and put it in the closet due to a Charlie repair house visit. I replaced all cables then pluged it up and turned it on. No front panel, no nothing. DEAD. I used mangos return from the grave steps and nothing. I have tried wall ,j-keys and skymax. Still DEAD. I have had this happen before and brought it back to live using Mangos technique. This time DEAD. PLEASE HELP. To late in the game to buy another one.

Did you check the fuse????

Yes I checked the fuse and it is good. I checked a few points on both boards and found voltage , so I think the transformer is still working.

Leave that unit plugged in and rear switch turned on for an hour ro so, then open the cover, and carefully feel the heatsink of the processor. If it is warm, then you still have a "living" unit...You should still be able to recover it with the "jtagless" method...a search in the pansat files area should quickly find that link...

LOL I'd hate to burst you bubble, but this is a Coolsat 4000pro clone he is working on, also the same as a digisat 4000pro.......LOL

I finally caught you in something you were wrong in.... Just so everyone knows, these moments are few and far between..... Unless he is right and you can Jtagless the Coolsat clone.... Hmmmmmm
