Major Improvements Coming in V144 - Scheduled for release 02-11-06 6pm EST
Folks,
We have not released anything but beta quality files thus far in the 140 series of bins. However, we are on the job and listening to everything you say. Later today we will release V144 which will NOT be a beta file. It will be a release that contains the following improvements.

Video gliching improved via Fast MAP3B and MAP57 Processing
Audio drop out improved
Freezing Issue improved
Channel and EPG Scrolling improved
Improved Channel Scanning
Improved Switching
Better Signal Quality.
Bev/Dish key roll updates and enhancements (For best results Roll on DN/Channel 300 and BeV/Channel 606 )
Closed Captions now functioning properly.
Auto TP functioning properly.
Misc Picture and sound improvements.

Looking forward to your comments on this upcoming release,

that is good news, heres hopeing for the best on the new release

loaded the new tr_v144 bin as soon as it came out, no sat restore just load and done, i have switched between providers and channel up and down and checked the epg info and so far so good, still early but so far the new bin looks good, congrads to the magnum coders

Froze in the first 5 minutes but keys rolled, epg filled up and no problems at all the last 2.5 hours, no freezing at all. Thank TR!!!

problems with new bin, epg will not show the correct time[gmt is set to correct time] missing info and still freezing while scrolling up or down in guide on both providers, i ran this bin since it came out and it has gotten worse in the last two hours, just so i am not perceived as being unfair i checked over at fwfta and there are major issues with this new bin

JD, I concur . I can't run 5 minutes without locking up on this bin. Tried loading default config, and reloading bin. Tried factory bin, then v144. Still looking for new options to try, but this one is not a winner for me. It's the worst I've seen, in fact. Oddly, some people aren't having problems. I'm going back to v143 to test that out, it was working for me, except for a daily lockup, and some remote issues.

Lots of freezing here and also get black screen and slow response when changing channels with remote (Not from guide) Freezing in guide while scrolling as well....Hopefully they get this all fixed in the next release

I also got lots of freezing, i reflashed maggie again with th 144 bin and over 3 hours of watching tv last night---> no freezes or even blinks, they have said to just flash but it could be a factory default and flash with 144 may be the way to go.

Remote seems to work fine now, and the guide was full quickly for me.
