need help...

-i am having trouble getting my system to work..... my receiver is a coolsat 8000 hd.......

i used to have this setup and it worked fine on my viewsat ultra 2000.... any suggestions.... using a 4*1 switch

-i have a dish pro 500 (this has a switch built in the lnb for 119 and 110)
-Also have a 33" dish and motor.. invacom quad lnb.

-I have a rj6 cable from the dish pro (1 cable) port 1 119 and rj6 cable from the dish pro (1 cable) port 2 110 on switch.

-on the invacom have c signals to port 3 on the switch and ku signals to poirt 4 on the switch.....


then i have it hooked up to the motor (from receiver out on switch) and a single cable running to the receiver...... like i said, this all worked for me on my viewsat ultra 2000... not working on the coolsat 8000.....

with the viewsat.. you have the following setting with a dish...
satellite ...
LNB Power...
LNB TYPE...
LNB freq...
22 Khz...
tp Freq...
Diseqc 1.0...
motor...
legacy sw...


with the coolsat ... it only allows you to choose the following...
dish....
satellite....
transponder...
lnb power...
lnb type...
22khz...
switch type...
usals.... (this switches depending on what switch type is selected...)
legacy sw....


i would liek to keep both dishes working.....is it just settings, and does anyone know the settings, or will this not work?

I have the same problem and you'll have to choose between switch and motor because is not working wit both of it.

I've choosed the motor (SMR 1224-EL)
I'm looking forward for CW3000 at the end of April; maybe is better than 8000.
