i am looking for the files that can bring buy cool tec back to life ,im looking for the files that u use with a jtag because it as no power and i wont turn on so i can load it with the loader and the new clonesaf 140 bin ,if someone can point me in the right direction it would be great i think the file is a binery called cooltec no bomb jtag 128 full ..ty

I can tell you that you won't find a clone safe 140 for about 2-3 weeks, and as far as jtag, It should at least try to start up. Check the fuse inside the STB to make sure that it is getting power. I can not find any jtag files/info that state "clone safe"

i dont see a fuse inside of it nowear but i know it as power because i can use the jtag on it when it reads it shows all ffffffffffff and yyyyyy i when i try to flash it, it loaded but i dont have the right flash for it to be able to get the box keys and the infor to show up ..the 1 that i have is the virgin dump and i dont think its the right because it askes me for the cooltec no bomb jtag 128 full program which is a binery file ..

I am kinda new to the world of jtags, I have not had a need for one yet (finding wood to knock on). But it seems that if it is asking for a file then all you should have to do is give the program bin to upload to you're STB. When you connect the STB (serial) and try to load a bin does it even read what the current version is? I remember having an issue one time with my Digisat (same thing as a cooltec) where it showed all F's on the display and it was because I was stupid and put a true coolsat bin on it. I remember just hooking it up to the serial port and reflashing it with a clone safe bin and away we go..

I would try to use the coolsat loader and see if it will load a bin.

plug STB into wall, hook up serial cable, and see what you get

I am standing corrected when I said 2-3 weeks for clone safe v140. It has been posted in file section. Have not tried it yet to see if it is legit.

From some more reading on the coolsat "home forum" f2atv, you need to download the coolsat pro factory. It should have the tools to jtag you're STB to factory so you can then load v140

I don't have to worry about my 102 right now, and I hardly watch my locals so I didn't even know that they where down. For the most part I watch 120:beer: , 176:beer: , 182:beer: , 153:beer: , and :mad: BBC America:mad: . ( damn wife's British comedy ):grr:

But back to the subject of this thread, I'm VERY happy that v140 is out SO fast. It took 2 days from the time NORW v140 was posted at f2atv tell' we had a clone safe here.
