Hi everyone? Im new at this. I needed help? I dont know how to write a new file to my cooltech reciever. Its the first time im doing this. I was wondering what program would i use to write a new file to it? Plz help me :cry:

You're Cooltech is the same as a Coolsat, just a clone. You need to go to the FTA File Section and in the CoolTech sub-forum you will find BIN 1.39. This is the newest CLONE SAFE file for the Cooltech's, and other clones like the megasat, coocoo, and Digisat. You will need the null modem cable and the latest coolsat loader which is 2.4 (off the top of my head) it is as simple as hoking up the cooltech to AC power, connecting you're serial cable, and uploading the new BIN file to the FTA. Once done make sure you do a factory reset on the FTA and away you go... porno, PPV, the whole 9 yards...

Just as a side note, a few threads below this one you would have found ALL the answers that you would ever need. you would have found that you have a coolsat clone, that you need clone safe BIN's, ect...

Nothing wrong with reading, or helping :-) We are all still waiting for a clone safe 140.. could be a while, there still isnt an origianal 4000 bin yet!

EDIT- DOH! spoke too soon.. there is a 4000 bin today in the files area.. Countdown is on for the clone bin!

now I wouldn't say "wisdom" is the a proper term for myself. after all, I did buy a clone coolsat. I should have bought a CS 6k, but went tightwad and bought a Digisat.
