Hello all...I have the 3300 and have read on several forums that there are a few people that have issues with horizontal lines on the screen through certain objects with their 3300. Several of them have sent the units back for warranty. I have this issue with my 3300 and was wondering if there is a chance that the problem is software rather than hardware related? I will load the 140 bin tonight to see if that helps. I mainly notice this problem with objects that are red in color. You can see the horizontal lines in these objects. If this is hardware related, should I return for a new unit? Thanks!!

you might find that the hardware is not YOUR hardware, but the signal providers. My cable company gets it's signal from sat,, and I have the same problem.. some channels worse than others,,
but give it a try...

Make sure you FOLLOW the few simple instructions BEFORE & AFTER loading new V-140 AND have rear power switch on Magnum OFF at all times when connecting or disconnecting anything !
Having FUN with my Magnum! :hat:

Play around with settings, cables and outlay of cables - (power / video+audio for TV, box and others)!

I have played with every combination of setting with the receiver itself and my TV which is a HD widescreen projection 62". The best combination I have come up with is to have the receiver set to 4:3, and the TV set to stretch. Also using the S-video instead of the component out seems to soften the horizontal lines a bit.
