Each time I power off and on, the signal comes but goes after few seconds...what's wrong ? Thanks Sounds like coax problems. Check your coax cable for shorts, corrosion, water in connectors----bad switch-----bad LNB----- ramhal 01-20-2007, 05:24 AM I have checked my cables, but don't seem to find any problem. My DN receiver works fine with the same installation. !!!! DJMBS 01-20-2007, 05:29 AM Are you using both EV and DN receivers at the same time.?? If so, I'd take the EV and connect it to the cable where the DN box is.. and see how it works there.... ramhal 01-20-2007, 09:27 AM Not at the same time. I have a DN box with no subscription which I used to check on the signal level. It shows a strong signal but when I connect EV, there is no signal...I also tried to change some cable couplers but with no luck either.... picaninnyfreeze 01-20-2007, 11:31 AM djmbs ,ramhal. i was having same problem,i went in and deleted the factory sats 119/110,when i set up new one i did not use the ones listed i made my own. example instead of echo *** or echo*** i used user 1 and user 2,i picked up about 100 new channles this way the only problem i am having now is no info on the epg. anjou80 01-20-2007, 11:34 AM try to put autoroll off good luck ramhal 01-21-2007, 06:04 AM I tried to out autoroll off but it didn't work...Something is wrong !! ramhal 01-21-2007, 06:33 AM If it would help, these are my settings: 2 d500's: one is a dpro dual for 61.5 connected to the second dpro+ for 119 and 110, and then one cable run to the magnum. No external switch needed. in antenna settings, 119 for Diseqc port 1, 110 for port 2, 61.5 for port 3. LNB Type DP, everything else default/auto. just-me 01-21-2007, 09:08 AM If it would help, these are my settings: 2 d500's: one is a dpro dual for 61.5 connected to the second dpro+ for 119 and 110, and then one cable run to the magnum. No external switch needed. in antenna settings, 119 for Diseqc port 1, 110 for port 2, 61.5 for port 3. LNB Type DP, everything else default/auto. when you go into the Satellite Setup menu, does the correct Satellite show up for 61.5/110/119 when you go into the config for them? Just below the Map of the North America, the Magnum will tell you which satellite you are viewing, if the switches are setup correctly. if it doesn't display correctly, then something is not right. instead of auto, try LNB power "ON" and how have you connected the 61.5? try adjusting the "multi-dish switch" settings and turn the DiSEqC OFF. Also, try disconnecting the 61.5 for starters and try just 110/119 alone. for some reason, the forum will not let me post attachments, else I'd attach a picture of a setup, cuz it's worth a thousand words! just-me 01-21-2007, 09:13 AM djmbs ,ramhal. i was having same problem,i went in and deleted the factory sats 119/110,when i set up new one i did not use the ones listed i made my own. example instead of echo *** or echo*** i used user 1 and user 2,i picked up about 100 new channles this way the only problem i am having now is no info on the epg. okay, you should prolly start your own thread, cuz we should be able to get you up and running off to the races!
