Is anyone experiencing a flicker problem from time to time?

I'm noticing about ever 5 - 10 min, a bluish flicker in the lower portion of the screen. I have tried several tv's to rule that out.

I'm trying to determine if its my EV or my signal.

What channel are you speaking about? All or just 1 or 2

I have the same problem with mine. I noticed it the other day for the first time (although I've only had the unit running for a week). Anyhow, I am using S-Video...maybe that has something to do with it as I didn't notice it before on component cables. What are you using for connection wires? (On a side note, I think it's the EV because it happens on the menu also)

I use component hook up but it should not make any difference. I have never had the bluish flicker on mine. Have you done a scan lately, lots of channels have moved around...

I notice this on all channels. It's super fast, my girlfirend hasn't mentioned it as i suspect she doesn't notice it.

Maybe i am just being picky. Like i said before maybe it has to do with my signal or setup. I am also using a SW21 rather than a diseq if that makes a diff.

I didn't do a blind scan, just a regular scan as described in the guide.

Also, I flashed my EV with bin 138 directly out of the box. I didn't flash with the latest factory bin and then 138 as others have mentioned.

I have also tried several TV's and all the outputs, Coax, RCA, S-Vid, and Component. I still see the flash from time to time.

Did you flash your EV with the latest factory bin first, or just right to V138.

This is not new, it has been happening on every bin released by Extreme Team.
It is something that I posted about months ago and is something the Magnum coders need to correct, as well as a few other bugs as well.
The Extremeview coders hopefully are working on the few bugs still in their bins and not concentrationg too much on the wish lists that have been posted here and elsewhere.
Get the bugs out of the bins 1st then If you want to add additional features or change some of the features do so as a low priority.
Guess we will know if they have some of the bugs worked out of the system when the next bin is released.

Agreed.

Okay then. This is a known BUG. I'm glad you took the time to confirm this. Now i can stop pointing my finger at my sat setup.

Thanks.
