Hi, I have two 500 dishes connected to a DVR522 through dishpro dual LNBF (61.5) and dishpro plus (110, 119). I want to connect my new extremeview to both dishes but I coudn't figure it out. I could connect each dish separately but not both even when using the switch. what I am doing wrong ?

should not be no problems at all,
connect to the diseq and edit settings under each sat as to how they are setup.

ok gotta rethink, maybe someone better with switches can chime in, not sure if that dishpro has a built int sw21 or not, if so i think you can run that feed into another sw21 than the 61 to the other side than into maggie.
I am sure there is a way to get it in the diseq too, play around with the switch settings under setup sat

I actually tried connecting both cables through DiSEqC 4x1 Switch..played with settings but with no luck.. I can can get signals only when connecting either cable directly to my receiver. I'll try again with settings but if someone could point the solution, I appreciate. Thanks

if this helps use it
this is my set up i both providers on two different dishes i use the sw21 switch for dish and run two cables into the house ......
when into the house i use a (A-B) switch purchased at rat shack shack......
this switch is either a Manuel switch from A to B or you "as i have" can get a remote control .......the remote control is much better about 30 USA dollars i think that is what i paid several years ago i still have the Manuel switch........
i don't like it that much sure makes it easy to go from one provider and back ......hope this helps if so some thanks and reps always works .

................if you have any more questions just ask .............................

If your using 2 d500's one a dishpro plus and the other a dpro dual, then you should be able to connect your 61.5 to the input of the dpro+ lnb in port, and use one cable run to your fta box. No external switch needed. in antenna settings, set 119 for Diseqc port 1, 110 for port 2, 61.5 for port 3. LNB Type DP, everything else default/auto.

Thanks bobu. It worked. That was the initial set up I have for my DVR522..The only thing I needed is the change the Diseqc settings for all 3 satellites as you mentioned. Thank you.

My magnum lost signal with the above settings. It only gets signal when each of the satellites is separately connected..110/119 or 110. Is that a bin problem ?
