I need help I am new to this and have problems with my setup.I am going to give as much imformation as I can.I have a Neusat sp 6000 with main version 1.72G11C5M1S2(R3501) and boot version 1.38 and data version 26 last updated 13/11/2006 22:57:39 and I am useing a Directv AT9 dish with model number FW9 Ka/Ku lnb and model FW2 110/119 lnb my problem is that when I scan I can channels off of 14 diffrent satellites but they are the same and they are mostly Canadian channels. My freind has the same unit but with a diffrent dish and he gets all the locals for our area and other areas in the usa plus all the hbo's and all the good usa channels why can't I do the same is it the dish that I have because we both have the same unit with the 2009-1 bin file.I have been playing with this for about 2 weeks and no success so any help would be great.
Thanks

sounds like your dish is pointed wrong. If your picking up BEV, you need to rotate your dish west.

That dish suffers from the same problems as the PhaseIII, which you need to read up on.. nasty thing to try and make work on Dishnet..

And besides.. you've already answered all your own questions in yoru thread:
My freind has the same unit but with a diffrent dish and he gets all the locals for our area and other areas in the usa plus all the hbo's and all the good usa channels
Get yourself a nice used Dish500, and enjoy all the channels that you're missing..
Good Luck

hey Jethro.. taking your box to your friend's place is a great idea.. give it a whirl there, and see what you get... if you like the results.. go with either what dish/LNB he has, or a dish500..
Good Luck

If you're looking for basic Dish programming... 110/119 is the ticket, and a Dish500 will get that for you very well.. I'd suggest a DPro Twin on that..
Hope that helps...
