I'm not getting the NFL channel on my Magnum. Maybe a rescan of sats is in order? Does everyone else get the channel? 154

Don't have Magnum, but I got 154 OK with VS Ultra. Rescan or make sure auto TP is on

It will double the channel, so you have to delete the channel by satellite, then do a fresh scan.

Thanks Mas..It may be easier to do a factory reset then redo everything but thats fine. I like to play.

I just read in the local paper, NFL network games are only available to D*sh and Dave subscribers, LOL.

You can get NFL Network without subscribing, I get it on my Magnum, but I'm missing a lot of other channels. Not much help am I?

I have rescanned my DN satellites before with my Magnum and I don't think it gave me any double channels. I'm pretty sure it's okay to do that...probably best, as I seem to remember before they had Auto TP Update the Magnum people said you didn't need to delete anything, and recommended you just rescan the satellite to Update.

I have ch. 154 on my Magnum too.

Were you getting 154 before, or did it just disappear?

As one2one said you will not duplicate channels on a rescan. A rescan will do just that, it will rescan and when you save and add/update it replaces previous channels. You can also do just individual TP's with no dups. Very nice feature and eliminates the need to factory default, etc.

For Individual sat

Menu, Install, Search Channel (SAT), OK, Highlight sat you want to scan, OK, Highlight start, OK, When done scanning, OK, Hit BLUE button (ADD/UPDATE), yes to save, Exit out.

For Single TP

Menu, Install, Search Channel (TP), Ok, Highlight TP you want to do, (In your case 12443) OK, Highlight start, OK, When done scanning, OK, Hit BLUE button (ADD/UPDATE) yes to save, Exit out.

Chuck just setup my unit yesterday and am receiving the channel, no idea why you might not be.
