I've noticed that every once in a while people post that they are having problems getting 7-day EPG with DN.

To get 7-day EPG, leave your receiver on one of the following channels for at least 10 minutes:

146, 239, 418, 424, 427, 436, 572, 5814

The "EEPG" is located on 119W, so you must be pointed to this satellite in order to get these channels and 7-day EPG.

Q. How do I find the channels that populate the 7-day EPG?

A. Go to http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/dish119.html and search for "EEPG". The channels are grouped by transponder. Tune into any channel on the transponder that the EEPG channel is on (currently TP18), and you will receive 7-day EPG.

Q. How come the guide isn't populating fully? Or how come it's only populating channels on 110W but not 119W?

A. Press Menu -> Channel Manager -> Timer -> Timer Setup, and check your time settings. If they are correct, just press Exit, and your guide should populate fully. For some reason, I need to do this after a factory reset or bin upgrade.

I assume this works on some FTA boxes.. My Fortec Classic NA didnt work. I still lists about 2 hours max for any channel. I left it on TP 18 @ 119w for more than 10 minutes, went into my EPG and same results as always.. just 2 hours max.

Hope this help allUpgrade to 137, it makes a big difference. I was able to pull about 3-4 days using 136, but that caused the guide to become slow and choke. With 137, I've got a full seven days of guide and no slowdowns or choking. Only took a few minutes to have the seven days filled, too.
