I'm getting digital noise leaking into the audio, it sort of sounds like insane modem tones (anyone still use those old modems?). I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem.
Its not very loud, but with a high end audio setup its noticeable and very annoying.
I have no ground loops, and the AC supply is dedicated for the audio and video and is shielded from RF in conduit all the way to the fuse box. The dish is also grounded to the common grounding point.
I'm using the optical output for the audio.
It seems like it may be processor noise; the noise is more active when the receiver is updating or some such thing. Or maybe switching noise from the PSU during load variance?
I haven't opened the unit up yet to have a look; I'd like some feedback first.
Anyone?
Other than that (I'm picky about my audio), this is a great unit! Excellent sound and video quality!
