Raider51 11-12-2006, 07:23 AM Manteca, Great job on cleaning the forum up. Brand new shelves and organized! Let's keep it clean! I loaded V133 up as soon as it came out last night. Didn't have time to check everything out. Looked good! This morning I did a full blown redo of the system. Set everything back up and rescanned. The guide filled right up ,keys rolled immediately. Had one problem, while I was checking the guide and then exited out, I lost complete control of the unit. The remote wouldn't work anything. I went to the receiver and the buttons wouldn't work. I couldn't turn the receiver off via front panel or remote. I had to turn it off via the back switch and back on. Since the reboot everything working good. (Should have done a reboot after setting it up) Also noticed when you hit the audio (yellow) button, there is no longer the option for AC3. I don't use it, but did notice it's no longer an option. In the games and utility option. (I did see your how to) There is a Telephone book and schedule manager! Is this new to this file? I don't remember seeing that on the others. Of course I probably didn't pay attention to that part of the menu. Nice Feature! Will have to see if there is a way to download to the computer before you do a complete system restore. There are audio glitches when navigating the menu and guide. Though very minor they are there. Especially if you are fast fingered! The PQ is still the best in fact it looks crisper and more defined. Good job, Team Magnum Awesome support! EDIT: On the AC3 audio and glitch statement. I just noticed that It is on certain channels and not others! Could be in how the show is broadcast? Also zero audio glitch in the menu and and guide. It may have been loading guide info when I had the problem. It is not there now! Manteca 11-12-2006, 07:39 AM In the games and utility option. (I did see your how to) There is a Telephone book and schedule manager! Is this new to this file? No it's always been there, kinda cool especially for me who forgets things LOL On the AC3 audio statement. I just noticed that It is on certain channels and not others! Could be in how the show is broadcast? I do beleive so Raider51 11-17-2006, 05:41 PM Is anyone experiencing a blackout (lasts 10 to 15 seconds) when the keys roll? If so. you want to turn auto tp off, menu, system settings, additional options, auto tp off. I was experiencing two or three mini blackouts a day, some coincided with key rolls, others didn't. I finally turned off auto tp this morning and have had none since. I noticed some problems with auto tp in previous files and was happy to see that the on/off option was included. I left it on with this file to see if I encountered any problems. In my case, it appears that is what was causing the mini blackouts. EDIT: They are back. Had one this morning. Will be looking for other causes. bibo 11-17-2006, 08:39 PM I am using bin 133 and for some reason it keep freezing up. It happened few times today. I had to turn the switch on the back off and then on again to got it works. I wonder if anyone experienced this? Look like we need a new bin I guess. Hopefully we got it soon just-me 11-18-2006, 06:34 AM I am using bin 133 and for some reason it keep freezing up. It happened few times today. Hopefully we got it soon I'll presume you are watchng DishNetwork when this happens. DN is changing keys sometimes many times per day. The magnum with V133 bin is rolling them in 30-45 secons or so. That is very quick, by any standard. If/when you see a freeze, just let it sit, or change channels and you will see "updating code" then the picture will pop back in. No need to cycle power... |
