With my SP6000 have not figured out why it auto rolls the new key but still shows the channels as scrambled.

I have had to set key to default and manual enter the correct key, and turn off Dish autoroll to keep it from rebooting. This method seems to have worked the last few times they change the keys.

The problem you are describing is the key morph that charlie is using... 1 character in the active key is off.... careful inspection of the key and comparison to the posted key will reveal which on off... turning off autoroll and resetting the bad character to the correct one will make the SP6000 work... so there is no need to re-enter the whole key just find and change the single character that is wrong...

Hi, Can you please post the latest key you are refering in your message. My SP6000 was working fine last night but in the morning it is giving me scrambled channel message. I tried to search for the latest key but no luck.

Try the new autoroll file released today... you can find it here....http://forums.dsstester.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=73003 make sure you load the proper file for your receiver they are not interchangeable...
