Please try holding your breath untill you get any help from these (professionals). When you are dead please remember all the people that helped you on the way to your FTA sucess-mostly these people becuase of all the hard work to took them to ingnore you.
Wish I could help but I own a Neosat and have for some time but can't get help on how to load it. Noesatusa.com will give you the files on the website and I have lurkrd around enough to know there as been at least two fixes. Go under search and type Neosat(that's how I found you) and if you have enough time or are able in body enough you will find the fixes. As for loading the receiver good luck! Sorry I can not help you but hang in there babby!

Neusat for dummys??? You asked and here you go:

1. Download the latest bin release to your computer from the site.
2. Unzip the release file and place it on your desktop.
3. Plug the usb thumb drive into an unused usb port on your computer and let it recognize/install itself.
4. Once installed go to the "my computer" option on your desktop and drop the unzipped file to the newly recognized thumb drive (you will see it listed).
5. Hook up your IRD to your TV and set your TV to the corerct station or input in order to see the receiver.
6. Turn the IRD from the back riocker switch.
7. If the IRD isn't already on at that point, simply press the on button on the remote.
8. On the front of the IRD open the cover to allow access to the built in usb port
9. and insert the thumb drive.
10. After a few seconds the IRD will find that there is a new software update and ask for confirmation of your intent to upgrade. Select it to take the update via the onscreen prompt.
11. The firmware will then transfer, and the IRD will reboot itself when complete.
12. At that point blind scan each of your satellites using the proper settings for lnb type, frequency and diseqc port (you may also select auto diseqc if you wish). Personally I would suggest scanning each satellite individually.
13. When complete exit all menu(s) and go to a station in order to let it roll.
14. When picture pops in your ready to watch some tube.
15. To lineup the dstations choose to sort by Provider Station ID.
16. It's best to start by reading the supplied manual for further detailed explinations on the IRD's abilities and usage.

To answer your question, yes it is far better than coolsat and viewsat,
support?, no need, it's very simple, forget about bins and keys. The problem
is that it needs to be on line and it can be tracked.

so....
what you are saying,,,
it's better because you can get caught and have no excuse for legit fta use, because you're hooked up to a US file server to receive packets to illegally decrypt US sat signals..

yeah,,, I'm gonna geta couple!'-

Harmie,
I'm truly sorry you feel you've been slighted by the "professionals" of this GREAT fta site. Please tell me who held a gun to your head and made you solicit the advice you feel you didn't receive. Your response indicates that "searching" helped you find some of the information you felt needed "spoonfed" to you. Wasn't it a learning experience for you? Maybe the receiver you're wanting answers to your questions for isn't a popularly supported one here, thus a lack of response. MAYBE it's your ATTITUDE!:grr:

You're welcome here as long as you feel welcome. When the feeling's gone, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

It's better because you can also use it like any other FTA, just unplug the
ethernet cable and load the keys, I have been using mine like this for the last 2 days, works great and nobody is going to catch me.
You should get a couple and learn more of this FTA so you can post a more reliable opinion.

Good luck with that - why open yourself up to even MORE risk. You put yourself at risk for criminal prosecution when you connect a modified receiver to the internet. It's enough just modifying it in the first place.

okay, I'm having a hard time following the logic here..
it's now better because ,,
it can do the same thing as the others, the same way as the others.

Plus,, you have the option of hooking it up to the internet to access an illegal US server traceable directly to your box/IP...

yup,,
I'd say that's much better,,, for Dish Net Security anyway...

My opinion is based on much reading and learning. Anyone with half a brain would realize that anything on the internet is traceable, so why would a company put their own customers at risk by supplying them with a tracable connection to a server....

never mind..

knock yourself out,,,
but make sure you got lots of KY,,
I hear Bubba is looking for new butt buddies..

moron number 1 harmie, if you found two fixes and we are all ignorant here why have you not posted the fixes and helped others
moron number 2, saldor, the reason we do not use a neosat is because we knew better , since you have been running yours for 2 whole days i guess you are home free and will never get caught:lol: let us know what federal pen you wind up in and we can send you some coupons for ky jel, that way you won't be a pain in the ass in jail like you are on this site:D

Let's see, as of today, 7 + 2 = 9 days, not two. maybe I didn't explain myself properly, my Neosat is being working without the internet connection and as long as I can fing a bin it will keep working like any other FTA, it is not mandatory to have the internet connection for it to work. What does it make you? a SUPER MORON.:p

I have both a Coolsat 6000 and a Neosat iPRO 1000. I've never gotten the Neosat to work on IKS (can't even change the net address). I got a cardless fix and the loader, so I can watch TV, but it no longer auto rolls.

My Coolsat 6000 autorolls, and I get everything.

Now that the iPRO 2000 is supposedly coming out in February, from a different manufacturer, we'll just have to wait and see.

I get most of my iPRO info from another forum, http://www.futuredss.com/
My appologies the this site's administrators if this is impolite, but I wanted to
give some help. YOUR site is excellent too!

From what I gather, from Neosat' s home site, is that they have suspended support for the Ipro 1000 until Feb. I own a 1000 and haven't used it for about three months. I just logged on to their site to discover that my receiver is now a doorstop. Now, if that's how they treat customers who have bought their product in good faith, I wouldn't buy any of their products!!!!!!!

They brought out a new bin and low and behold, it's an unfinished bin that doesn't support B3V ! They state that the bin is incomplete and will be finished at a later date ! Their reason is, all the efforts are geared towards their new unit, the Ipro 2000! So now if you buy the new unit, how long will they support it ? I gather, by the past history of these people, that would be until they bring out their next new unit!!!!!:grr:

It is true they suspende IK support, the reazon is because they cought the Korean guys that were doing it and this should have cost Neosat a lot of money. But Ipro 1000 is been running fine without interruptions, there is plenty of support, try www.futuredss.com they have auto roll bins and all kind of instructions. Mine is been running just fine since I bought it more than 6 months ago.

Just now found your smart-assed answer to the worlds problems. If you don't still ask your hand picked freinds for help you are a damned liar. You didn't learn this by reading nor self taught from hard work without help. You can take a stab at me any time and the door to the whole site can hit you in the ass. I have tried to help others as I learn but I have never got off first base with this site. I do have a bad attitude and I am sorry I got angery and bad mouthed decent members who would probably have helped me eventually.
But to you sir:mod. or just born that wayare a pompus ass. If you want to get close and personal just send me a e-mail you have on file and we will see who gets the ass slamming.

Grr right back at you. If you try to tell me you learned this by yourself then I'm going to say you are a liar. If you try to tell me that you read your way into the understanding of programming without a teacher i'll call you the same thing. I see I have a Few points saved up so take them and buy yourself some candy. It may help your attitude and make a sweat little mod out of you without you having to work so hard.

I remember you when you were new at Neosat. With your sickening quotes about "Wisdom: and seeking "Knowledge" that you kept on and on quoting sounding like a bible thumper(while participating in something illegal, I should be surprised to see that you are now a Mod. It just proves what a strong set of lips and long tongue can do for any worm! Your silly quotes and repeated "knowledge" will but you in jail. If you guys are so afraid of the Internet what the he** do you think you're doing right know. When the time is right to break down the doors, your name will be near the top. This site is listed on the Internet(Google) and we all have sent our names and address in order to join. If you are that afraid of the Internet should you get out of the business and hide under your boyfriends bed for protection? I probably would not be such a bee in your bonnet if you would quick reading my post and go home

joer isn't a mod here..

and your rambling doesn't make any sense to begin with

If you hate this site so much, that all you can do is come here and complain about your boxes,, then, maybe find someplace to complain,,,

this is NOT a support site for Neosat,, or Pansat,, they have their own support sites,,,

If you don't want someone to read your post..

don't post

What are you talking about "I remember you when you were new at Neosat"? I've never had ANYTHING to do with Neosat so yes, I'm new and have NOTHING to do with it.

"your sickening quotes about "Wisdom: and seeking "Knowledge" that you kept on and on quoting sounding like a bible thumper(while participating in something illegal, I should be surprised to see that you are now a Mod." I don't know what you're smoking/drinking, but I've NEVER misrepresented myself to be a mod. Concerning my "bible thumper" quotes, they're applicable ANYTIME to ANYBODY. If you can refute them, give it your best shot.

Now, I've got a present for you- I'm gonna show you how much I appreciate your contributions to DSSTester.

Please feel free to c/p my comment I made when acknowledging your post.
Have an enjoyable day.
