I am on the receiving end of card sharing using a dm 500 with nitro and geno channel list for both dn bxprsvu. I am not sure why i get frequent freezing, apprx every minute or so. Sometime i reboot and its fine for 10 minutes or so. I would like it if someone could direct me in right direction as to what to look for.
Could it be a setting in vr/keys/newcamlist, cm_cfg, ? could it be simply my dsl connection? I want to start checking for myself instead of asking the guy that shares with me. He is allready doing enough for me. As a client , would i have to remove auto update? or is this at his end? i'm sure he has removed it if required , hes smart.

Are you the only one freezing?

There is a known problem with the codespace blocker on the DM500.
It is easily solved by adding 1 or 2 wide open tiers instead of multiple ones.

You can also increase the memory that the files use. In the NEWCS. XML file
change the <emm>10</emm> and <ecm>10</ecm> to a larger number like 250 or 500 so it looks like this <emm>250</emm> <ecm>250</ecm>.

I use 500 and it works fines some people have problems.

Not sure, but i'm sure that it should be in your files. Trying to remember where it is located, I think var/tuxbox/config?? Dont have access to one right now. Nah not funny I am still noob too, just kept reading, trying, and reading and trying.

I had a simliar problem with codespace blocker. I have return back to penga blocker. It is not freezing. Is freezing on specific satellite or every other channel?

The fix for the codespace blocker is to only have one or two tiers that open everything that you want. For some reason too many tiers is what casues the freezing.

i think u might be right . Everytime i did a cold boot.(power off and on) it seemd to clear the memory and everyting came back on on the specific sat i lanned on upon reboot, but as i changed satellites, it started freezing. I eventually found out the provider buddy that gave me card sharing was having same problems also. He mustve fixed something because its almost flawless now. One good thing that came out of this is knowledge recived by reading even tho i havent fixed anyting myself yet lately.
