I have a question about installing EMUs on DM 7020

I'm using pli-Flubber-The Sequel-dm7020 image. Is it a right way to install EMUs from expert setup? TV mode > blue button > Software manager > downloads > SoftCams/Cardservers. I installed all soft Cams available.

I went to /etc/tuxbox/scce. Pli Flubber automatically installed nagra files into the directory. But I only have 10 files:(nagraepr10.bin, nagraepr11.bin, nagraepr3.bin,nagraepr7.bin,nagraram10.bin, nagraram11.bin, nagraram10.bin,nagraram3.bin,

nagraram7.bin,nagrarom3ext.bin , and ROM102.bin -permission is 644 on all of them), but it suppose to be 13, isn't it? If so, where to get 2 missing files?

Then, I went to usr/keys. That's what Flubber installed me: camd3.config, camd3.keys, camd3.servers, camd3.users, camd_cfg, mg_cfg, newcamd-client.txt, pw_start.services. Some of them have 744 and some are 644 permissions. Where's the Autoapdate.key and keylist.txt ??

One more question. How to select right emu for certain channel??

TV mode > blue button > SoftCam Setup : I have 4 categories:Channel, Provider, Default SoftCam, Cardserver. Also, 4 drop-down options where I can select Emu type: ccamd, evocamd, etc. Do I have to set same type of Emu for all 3 categories(Channel, Provider, Default SoftCam)?

What do I choose for Cardserver option: cardserver or serverng?

And of course, I watch no channels. I tried diffrent Emus for certain channels, but nothing worked out.

Can someone explain how to set it up right way?

Thanks!

I think you have the right amount of files. I'm not sure which EMU you are trying to run but you only need one to get all channels. At this time the only thing that will work on Dreambox is Card Share (you need a D**h or bv card) there are a couple of Emu you can use MGcam or NewSC but you will need a programmed card to make it work.

Hi,

I have used/experimented with PLi flubber and the sequel both found them both to be a bit buggy and irratic at times..... currently using Pli GARNET and up to now it seems very stable setting the EMU can be a little tricky. G**x is the most prefered EMU here and with the PLi images is quite easy to set up and use........ what I would suggest is download G**x from the "older emus section" in flubber and ftp all G**x related files across into a folder (cause in GARNET some files are missing)...... chmod your emu files to 755 and reboot.

I suggest DCC is the easiest way to ftp.......;) have uploaded a link...

as far as keys goes not sure what sat you see in usa or keys you require but if you install Satan key updater.... keys kan automatically be installed via your network.

generally the one emu will be fine for all channels however the maybe some channels that will require a change of emu to say "update a card" because that particular emu works best with that provider ie: DigitAlb on Conax updates best (in my opinion) with Scam......... so if I had a DigitAlb subscription I would use Scam as me emu for that provider (unless I were in a CS and you would need to stay using the agreed emu but would just swap over for a while to update your sub)

Hope this sheds some light......
