I am setting up a motorized Fortec 31" dish on a Fortec Motor sat HH90.
I am trying to do set up aiming at AMC5 (79 degrees) since my Longatude is 82 degrees, and I have a Sadoun KUL1 Linear LNBF. And a Viewsat Extreme 2000.
Questions:
Do I set to Universal or Standard LNB?
Since my Circular LNB's on 18" dishes on other DISC Ports are set to Standard I am guessing I want 'Universal" for this Linea LNBF ???
This is my main question: what frequencies do I want for LNB High and LNB low, for this Satoun KUL1 Linea LNBF?
Or if I set the LNB type to Standard, what freq do I use for this Satoun KUL1 Linea LNBF
I thought I would try a transponder of 11900 since that seems to be listed at Lyngsat as TP in use. Then once I gett a signal and tweek for optimum signal do a blind scan
Any advise will be much appreciated

That is a standard LNB your LOF should be 10750 for both high and low. As for AMC 5 I am not pointed there right now, maybe someone else can help you with that. There is a place to check where to aim is here. It gets you close.

I know for IA5 its 10750 so try that with standard since you don't have a universal lnb

I thank you both for your replys. I tried and got the rotor to somehow turn as far as it could counter clock wise when I put in my Lat and Long and the AMC5 data and now i can not get it to go back to 0 degrees not mater what I try. In user mode it does not go east or west no mattter what I press. The rotor started on zero but in the Viewsat Extreme 2000 menu for motor control nothing seems to move the rotor now. I have treied removing my Lat and long and setting them to 0 and also a degree of zero for the sat but nothing seems to move the rotor now. And no limits are set. What can I be doing wrong. I mean this aint rocket science.....oh wait yes it is!
If anyone knows of a step by step for dummies I could use some help.

uhh ohhh. So you are settign this up with a motor. You need to set it up to your tru south. Somehow you will need to reset your motor. I dont have one so well I cannot help you with that.

Viewsat receivers are not very motor friendly. I have never gotten mine to work properly, it always sticks on the sat and will only move by continually hitting the move function in the Usals menu. I ended up connecting my Pansat to the IF output and use that to move the motor.

Thanks for your reply. I also tried using my Pansat 3500 and no matter what I try I can not move the rotorback from 68 degrees Clockwise. I think I must have a defective STAB HH90 rotor motor. I guess I'll start the warranty returns process tomorrow. I was hoping someone may have seen and resolved this, but It just has to be a bad rotor because it will not move east or west at all. What confused me is that it started at zero degrees and did move all the way clockwise one time, which led me to believe the Rotor or motor was OK. But it just can't be this difficult. Time to stick a fork in it cus this rotor is done. Thanks again to all who offered ideas.

From what I have read about motor's is there should be an overide, or manual move buttion on the motor itself. If there is can you move it with that?
