i am going ROM 102:) :) . my friend said this is the only thing that will work before the fix for FTA comes out after the next ECM:cry:
so i want to get a receiver before it happens

i HAD Rom 102 card with dp310 013. but my friend said he is not able to program dp301 013 yet. so i have to gt dp310 010 or 2700-2800-3800.
i just want to get your opinion on this.

The 013 is a pain for sure. the 010 works well. ( Can get costly) 2700 2800.ect .... Seam simple and cheap.
My pick is the 010, but I have a few friends running the other models with no problems.

dp310 010 or 2700-2800-3700 are the easiest. 301.13 need vidmod.
yes the card can be converted back.

I have a 3900, 301.013, 311 and a 501. The 3900 was my first receiver. It is very easy to program but, the downfall of this receiver is it only has a 1 meg tsop. It takes a long time to download the program guide and picture in the guide. I definately think the 301.010 is your best choice. It has a jtag cutout and is fairly simple to program. My personal favorite is the 501, it does have some challenge tho to program. Just my opinion...

The first item has a ROM 101, and these are obsolete. If you have a 102 then it can be used with either receiver, but you will have to go with public fix, I think. The 3700 with solid yellow card would be worth jumping on just for the yellow card. They cannot be messed with at this time, but in the future....... If you can get at a real cheap price.

Ebay is OK, but you never know who you are dealing with and what the state of the equipment really is. Been there, done that.

Have you thought about looking here? There are alot of reputable people here who have been selling stuff like this for a while, so they can be trusted. Also, they know what you'll be doing so they actually may be able to help you via this forum. A WIN WIN scenario if you ask me. Just my input.....

rite now my friend is using the card. he said its Rom 102 REv 105

and he programmed it to use it for B3V 82. but now i want to use it for Dish 61.5

so he said he will just reprogram it to Dish 61.5 .
