You have been here for a while and have had time to peruse and read this forum, but in your defense and not knowing what is going on near your pc, you may have been distracted by somthing local when passing the thirty or forty threads asking the same question.

So still in your defense I'm guessing you have not seen the numerous posts questioning the cognitive qualities of those posting such questions.

futhermore here is the answere to my own question. there has been a new bin released but i do not know about a card reader. any input would b appreciated.

the file is cc_1.27 but for some reason i cannot post. i got it from courious contraptions

I have no Cootec I can verify this on today but this is what I am told.

Version CC_123_m2 is currently up.


You know we had the Map57 hit 2.5 months ago all have been down but Coolsat with card, Viewsat, Sonicview, Buzz and some sharing solutions. all others are just locals no ppv or premiums.

Yesterday 9/11/06 Dish dropped the map57 from the stream opening all channels for all FTA regardless of brand.

This will be only temporary kind of like a hurricaine party before the storm. They will hit again very soon they are pushing Rom 10 and Rom 30 updates. we have no Idea what they will do when the update is complete.

I would belive that this hit will be even harder to deal with then the map57.


So what this means is the CC_123_M2 file is working at least that is what I am told by a friend in Denver. I can't prove it I have no Cooltec herE right now.


If you have a later file it should be working also. Just rescan your channels.

Be careful with unknown files as Cooltec built a clone killer into a lot if thier files that will toast a clone and differant clone versions are affected differant by it.

I enjoy reading all these silly posts about who spells the best, but you never see any about who can write code the best, do you? That would be great! Then we could get our fixes alot faster then, huh? Anyhow Im using the CC123 bin on my rechipped cooltec and all channels are open as of right now. Anyone that calls this a hobby, I recommend you buy a cooltec. That will give you plenty to do. My wife hates the son of a bitch!

yes we are all up and running on 1.23 and 1.27

i understand that nw has released a cardless fix 1.28 that solves the map 57 fix maybe if it is debombed it will hold us over for a while.
