From DSSFTP tonight...

Randy has passed away yesterday after a long bout with Hepatitis C and related illnesses. He was a longstanding member and a damned fine moderator. He will be missed by all of us.

Now I don't care a bit what some of you guys may think of Mili but there isn't any way someone could say a bad thing about Cimba. He was a great tester, a great moderator and a credit to the hobby. I knew him from a joint testing venture we were involved in together "back in the day" and he was just a humble, good man. He had been in very poor health for quite some time and now he's finally at peace.

I'll miss ya buddy.

I don't read that site very much, and am not familiar with this guy. I do very much hate to hear that we lost one of "our own" so to speak.

Sorry to hear that, Hondo.... I never knew the man, but just from what you've said about him in here, he deserves the respect of this forum.. R I P , Randy, aka Cimba...

Cimba, (Randy) the dss community will miss you as a great mod and knowledgeable tester. May, you rest in peace. My deepest condolonces to Randy's family. :(

my respect to his family, and i know he is better place just close to GOD.

Again, this site shows it's true colors!:yes: Even 'tho there's been bickering, back-stabbing and general ranting and raving, it comes together and shows and gives last respect for a fellow-tester, whether he was known to us or not. The courtesy and condolence, offered and given to Randy and his family, speaks VOLUMES of the character and integrity of DSSTESTERS!

Randy, may God bless you and keep you, and watch over your family in this time of great sorrow.

I didnt know him either but like qrb123 I too feel for your loss Hondo as well as his familly im sure he will be missed by all he knew.
