Having spent 3 hours last night playing with this STB last night, I figured out a few things.

1: Connect DB9 Serial Null Modem Cable (Female/Female) "DB9 NULL F/F"
2: Connections are from computer to BUZZ
3: Power on BUZZ
4: LOAD Downloader.exe
5: STB --> Connect
6: STB --> Download File (PC->STB)
7: Select file to load to BUZZ.
8: Power off BUZZ wait 3 seconds and Power On
9: You will see the BUZZ downloading WAIT
10: You will see the BUZZ SAVE ...... WAIT
11: You will see the BUZZ say G00D then B00t
12: You are done.

Somehow I translated that into after downloading turn off the BUZZ. Let the stb loader do the download for you.

Many thanks to woofy.

However ensure that you download the correct bin and not the factory bin. I also had a problem with Channelmaster and had to redownload it. But all the instructions contained in his post worked great.

With an 18" single LNB dish, I was able to obtain signal from three different satellites without the use of a Signal Finder, or an older formerly subscribed receiver.

Will also have to admit from behind the dish I was confused. I was thinking from my area the satellites went from right to left for example 110 then 119. However it seemed last night that I found two of them further to to left of 110 but they were lower numbers. Waiting to go hook this box up to my dual and multiple LNB dishes and see what I can find.

I have found some TP's that are very weak in signal in comparison to others I am guessing that they are spotbeams.

Locals work, PPV works, VOD works, other channels work from 110.

Disclaimer if this is posted in wrong forum would someone move it to the correct forum.

Good luck,
