is there anyone on this forum using viewsat extreme on galaxy 11, what are ur antanna setting and any idea what the strongest tp is???

I'm not currently on G11, but here's the settings....

Its a combo C/Ku bird, - http://www.lyngsat.com/g11.html - but I'm sure you're interested in the Ku band stuff.. You'll need a linear LNB, with at least a 33" dish, ....36 or 39" even better...I don't think strongest TP is critical.. just find that bird, and tweak it to the max...

johnny,... you're welcome... if you want to be able to check out all the sats, go to this link...(Lyngsat) http://www.lyngsat.com/tracker/america.html from there, you can click on any sat name, and it will take you to another page.. once there, click on "Frequency Chart".. dead center above sat name.. you'll be amazed how much info is there... I haven't personally been on AMC15.. but I've heard a bit about it...its a linear bird.. so you'll need a linear LNB with at least a 33" dish... It's also a DN bird, and all the channels are encoded with.. you guessed it.. nag2... so we're still out of luck on it till the "fix" arrives...

i have the view sat extreme fix and that shoud get me all the channels right..

Again, I'm not a Viewsat user, but I believe Yes, you should be able to get up and running with the latest cardless fix for Viewsat...
